The Lake Nakuru Lodge is tucked away at the Southeast nook of the Lake Nakuru National Park. This gem is accessible by road and makes for an excellent off-road trip adventure. It’s also the perfect launching pad for a tour of magical central Kenya. Imagine culminating the adventure by staying at the same location gazetted and protected by the government as an area where rare black rhinos and Rothschild’s giraffes can be spotted. The park also has white rhinos. After a day of watching wildlife, you have the choice of reclining at the resident bars overlooking Lake Nakuru, taking a refreshing dip in the enticing blue swimming pool or enjoying some excellent evening entertainment before retiring into understated comfort in your room. MEETING ROOMS

Lake Nakuru Lodge has two meeting venues. The ultra-modern Rhino Paddock Conference Room has a sitting capacity of 70 people in theatre style and is suitable for cocktail functions or seminars. The Flamingo Baraza Room is great for incentive group briefings and cocktails. Lake Nakuru Lodge can also facilitate banquet and meeting requirements for an additional charge.

MEETING FACILITIES

Audio-visual equipment and a conveniently separate secretariat, overhead projector with screen, LCD Projector on hire, T.V. with video, flip chart, markers, pens, and writing pads.

GUEST ROOMS

The Lake Nakuru Lodge has a total of 94 rooms. Each room at Lake Nakuru features an en-suite bathroom and a balcony with panoramic views of either the flamingo pink-rimmed Lake Nakuru, the park or the manicured garden. The rooms are fitted with beds draped in mosquito netting, a worktable/chair, and full-length windows. All bathrooms are chalet with a private shower and WC. The zebra room, which is the oldest at the lodge is over 100 years old and offers guests a great opportunity to be a part of a long-standing tradition.

DINING OPTIONS

The world-class chefs at Lake Nakuru Lodge make cooking look like an easy affair with their exceptional skill sets. Experience excellent dining at the Mutarakwa Restaurant which serves buffet breakfasts, lunches, and dinners on live cooking counters. The restaurant overlooks Lake Nakuru and allows you to delight in the beautiful panoramic views of Lake Nakuru National Park. Grab a drink or cocktail from Mama Nikki Bar which gives you a chance to unwind, as you enjoy the beautiful African sunset. The bar comes alive at night when traditional dance performances are held.
