Maasai Mara

Mpata Safari Club is perched on the edge of Oloololo escarpment with panoramic views adjoining the Maasai Mara. It's advantageous location and well designed programs offers guests a chance to experience the environmental beauty. Images of Africa will linger in your memory long after your return from safari.

Guests stay in individual colleges well spaced along the top of the escarpment. There are 11 Suites and 12 Deluxe units, each with separate bedroom, bathroom and verandah.

With emphasis on comfort and a unique combination of interior design, the Suites have a lounge, kitchenette and best of all - an outdoor Jacuzzi.

All meals prepared at our Club are of Nouelle Cuisine based on recipes by Kiyomi Mikuni. The variety and inventiveness of our everchanging menu is guaranteed to enhance your stay.

Mpata Safari Club offers a variety of activities:

Game Drive - Witness the drama of the herds and their attendant predators in the heart of Africa's last refuge out on the Savannah.

Balloon Safari - Float in the breeze over the Savannah in balloons that give you a unique vantage point, ending in a champagne breakfast.

Fishing - Fly to Lake Victoria for an exciting fishing expedition. Return in the late afternoon with your own catch of Nile perch for dinner.

Nature Walk - A guided tour by our naturalist in the natural surroundings of the Club, which lies just outside the reserve but still teems with life.

Maasai Village - A tour of the Maasai Mara is never complete without a visit to the intriguing Maasai villages which imparts a sense of love for humankind and their rich culture.
